This terrified Horse is sliding helplessly down this steep
road. The tourists in the cart he is also holding back are completely oblivious to his distress
and the danger of being thrown out of the cart if he falls over.

Here is another one slipping down the incline.

This man is looking for a tourist to ride one of the Horses
both are scraggy and he is rather handy with a small stick.

As soon as he realised I was taking pictures he sped off.

This child is maybe around 10yrs old
working to find tourists when he ought to be in school

This the saddest Horse I saw.
So tired, unkempt and malnourished.
I could raise no response from him.
No one at home anymore.

The less he can work, the less he will be fed and he is doomed,
eventually for the meat man after all the years of working for tourists.

The girls have no riding head gear to protect themselves.
